The location and occasion is the grand opening of the Beverly Hilton and hostess Hedda Hopper who had the power to make or break a star has seemly ordered out all the stars in Hollywood.

Guests include Charleton Heston, Thomas Mitchell, the Walt Disney's, Audie Murphy, Charlotte Greenwood, Shelly Winters, Irene Dunne and countless more.
