SPACE PATROL - SORCERERS FROM OUTER SPACE 1952. ABC. Kinescope. Space Patrol was one of the longest running children' shows of the 1950's. It first aired in September of 1950, recorded live on film. It was set in the 30th century, Buzz Corey (Ed Kemmer) Commander of the Space Patrol fights for justice in the name of the United Planets of the Universe. Lyn Osborn was his wise cracking assistant Cadet Happy. This presentation was derived from shows #199 Sorcerers From Outer Space December 11, 1954 and #200 The Defeat of Baccarratti December 18 1954 apparently edited to sell to as a feature with added footage. Buzz Corry and Cadet Happy have been shanghaied to 17th Century America, and become candidates for burning at the stake as suspected sorcerers. The villainous Prince Baccarratti also falls suspect by the superstitious colony.
