A look back at vanished forms of transportation.

Angels Flight was a unique cable car in Los Angeles that went to the top of Bunker Hill. Showing its final days after 60 years of service and a ride was still a nickel. Designed From The Inside is the story of how the C & O RR with help from its employees  redesigned their main repair shop at Hutington, W. Va. Sadly you'll see rows of beautiful steam engines  in for what was possibly their last overhaul.

The End Of The "El ". After 76 years the 3rd Avenue Elevateds days are numbered and Pathe News covered the landmark on its last days. Double Deck Swan Song  It's 1952 and New York City is in the process of eliminating those old-fashioned double deck busses. As a bonus we are pleased add The Last Narrow Gauge Railroad, pleased because unlike our other subjects it is still with us. The Silverton Railroad in Durango, Colorado.
