The LX-1100 offers such superb features as outstanding screen brightness throughout its lamp's long service life and excellent sound performance in terms of frequency response, distortion, S/N ratio and so forth. The operation is as simple as the operation of the conventional projectors and the Xenon-arc lamp ON/OFF can be done by just simple switching. Only one different point in operation is that the Xenon-arc lamp must be turned on before starting to run the film. Physically, this unit has very little wear. Design-wise it's very nice-looking and is for serious collectors only or people who need a serious super professional 16mm projector for very large auditorium-caliber screens or for outstanding brightness on a smaller home screen.

The asking price is $5000. which is quite a deal considering that it originally sold for nearly 4 times that amount in the nineties, plus the thousand or more dollars for perfect silent movies. If you think that's a bit pricey, consider this; it is in top running condition having just been fully tuned and inspected. (Expect no nasty surprises as this is not a worn defective "fixer-upper").
